This National Pet Month, Danaher Animal Home is celebrating a heartwarming achievement after successfully rehoming 68 animals throughout April.
We are dedicated to rescuing and caring for vulnerable pets, and we found loving new homes for an incredible variety of animals over the month. Among those rehomed were 29 dogs, 24 cats, 9 rabbits, and 6 guinea pigs.
National Pet Month, celebrated every April in the UK, highlights the many benefits of pet ownership and encourages responsible pet care. For Danaher Animal Home, it also provided the perfect opportunity to shine a spotlight on the importance of adoption and the life-changing difference it can make for animals in need.
We are absolutely thrilled to have helped 68 animals find their forever homes during National Pet Month. Every adoption creates space for us to help even more animals in need, and we’re so grateful to everyone who chose to adopt this April.
The rehoming success reflects the hard work and dedication of Danaher Animal Home’s staff and volunteers, who work tirelessly to provide care, rehabilitation, and support for animals before they move on to their new families.
Each animal has their own story and so much love to give. By adopting, you’re not only gaining a loyal companion, but also giving an animal a second chance at life and this is why adopting is so special.
As National Pet Month comes to a close, we hope this milestone will inspire more people to support local rescue centres and consider adoption in the months ahead.
